But that also makes them a little heavier. LO still loves her soothies and refuses to take the 3+ months at almost 6 months. For the longest stretch there, he wouldn't take a paci. We haven't moved up by the months yet. I didn't know about the tougher silicone thing. The only risk is it being too big for her right now; she'll let you know if it's uncomfortable. I asked this of my pediatrician at one point and he basically called the different sizes a scam to get parents to buy more pacifiers. Maybe someone with more experience will chime in. I just bought M some MAM pacifiers with her name on them for day care. They have a paci box for each child and I'm sure they are diligent but I figured having her name on her pacis would ensure hers doesn't end up in some other kid's mouth and another kid's paci doesn't end up in her mouth. Anyway, the pacis came in either 0-6 months or 6+ months. She's 3.5 months so I went ahead and bought the 6+ months because I didn't want to have to retire the pacifiers so soon since they weren't cheap. Do you think it's ok to give her the 6+ month pacis early? </p>
