He has NEVER taken one for more than 2 or 3 sucks, but nurses just fine! Weird. M is 11 months and hasn't used it for a long time, but it was my secret weapon early on. I discovered today that they have been successfully putting her down for naps using a pacifier! We did not try a paci until she was four weeks and she just would not take it.</p> <p>Huge win because while I have been nursing her to sleep, she always wakes up when I lay her down. Had to share my success. If you waited to try a paci after 4 weeks, did it go well? </p>
