The pnp works fine, but it'd be nice to be able to just reach over and feed LO or hug him if I want to. Also, LO is about to outgrow the bassinet part of the pnp at 3.5 months. It goes up to 15lbs. I liked that it had the one side open so I could see her pretty well and even put a hand on her while she was sleeping. Since it was the mini it was also smaller than a P&amp;P so fit in our bedroom better. We LOVED it and I definitely think you should borrow it. At the very least, if you don't like it, you can give it back. </p> <p>LO used the Arms Reach for about 3.5-4 months. It was great, because I felt like he was too little for true co-sleeping, so it was a great way to keep him close for me. Now he's older (6 months) and splits his nights between the crib and our bed. I've heard mixed things from co-sleeping mommies about it... Some love it &amp; others felt it was a waste of funds (since its kinda pricey). I think it would be great for not having to get completely up though to tend to bebe!</p> <p>We used the pnp bassinet until P could get on her hands &amp; knees.. It worked great for us &amp; second as a storage (the stuff we had under our bed went under the bassinet insert when we moved our mattresses to the floor). I did loathe trying to break it down when we moved though so I doubt we use it again. It was also great because I had a c-section, so it was easier for me to pick up LO.</p> <p>The Pack n Play will work, too, though. Are there pros and cons to each? I'm thinking about using the co-sleeper and letting my ILs keep the pack n play at their house. </p>
