@travellingbee: Thanks for this. I hadn't thought to buy some to keep on hand for emergencies. I will get some at Target next time. She usually eats what we do for the most part.

Agreed with PP, we keep them on hand for random occasions, nothing wrong with feeding them before 2...haha I've been feeding the toddler stuff to LO since she was 10-11 months.

@googly-eyes: yes that is why I have bought them. Normally he eats what we eat, but occasionally it's too spicy or something when we're out.

@yoursilverlining: That sounds about right...

@JennyD: I used to think that too! But then all the other brands just say "toddler" and people who want to believe that their toddler still needs toddler food would keep buying until they don't want to anymore right? I don't know... We only have them as backups for when we are out and maybe somewhere lo can't eat (like spicy foods) or for days we just are too busy/overwhelmed by something at home..

I say it's a marketing thing. To convince people they still need to feed their toddlers "special" food.

We had the same experience with food age ratings. I think it's probably a liability issue; so Gerber has their butt covered when some idiot feeds their 5 month old a plate of "graduates" ravioli and things don't end well.

My LO pretty much eats everything at this point. He is 11 months old. Well, I don't give him super hard/crunchy food to eat, but other than that he eats everything. So I am wondering why some of the Gerber graduates food and others like buddy fruits say that they are for ages 2 and up. Any ideas about it?
