Chobani makes tubes that are really high in protein and fairly low in sugar. I even eat them!

@blackbird: this is the question I have been asking myself for a while now.
And truth? I have no good answer ;)

I am going to see about trying some options to incorporate dairy into other foods and see how it goes!

Will she eat greek yogurt? Its nice and thick so it doesn't make a mess like regular yogurt

So....why are you including dairy? is it the calcium you want? Because there are lots of veggies that include calcium, you can just do that. As long as meals have protein, fat, and a veggie (fruit's a bonus), that's sufficient for me!

Have you tried string cheese? Sometimes DD won't eat slices/cubes but has almost never passed up string cheese. I take it out of the package and break it into a few smaller pieces so her teachers don't have to help.

What about more things that incorporate dairy into other things? Quesadillas are a great option since it would be easy to add veggies and our beans. Maybe a soup?

Are you aiming for more dairy for a specific reason? Perhaps upping protein and healthy fats that come from other food groups would work and you could double up at another time of day when it would be easier. I really like the lunch ideas on this website, maybe poke around there for inspiration:

I have been doing yogurt melts/bites, but I am feeling like they are a bit too sugary for my liking...and they seem to be only available in the baby food section, which weirds me out buying them for my almost 5 year old. Is that crazy of me?

We can't send anything with packaging, so tubes and pouches are out and I am worried about my daughter being able to not break open a resealable one if I send that. Again...bonkers?

Our school asks for only water to be sent to drink (and that is after they first said no to even water bottles, AHHHHH!)

I was going to suggest yogurt bites / melts as well.

Also LO will eat cheese on pizza but not melted in anything else. She also likes cheese slices. So I wonder if say your LO doesn't like slices would she like cubes?

Have you tried the yogurt in the tubes? I get the stonyfield one from Costco and my LO loves them. I freeze them and by the time lunch comes, it's still cold for her to enjoy.

I am a weeeee bit particular about packing lunches and ensuring that every food group is represented. But I can't do yogurt (previous experience resulted in spills everywhere!), but my daughter just refuses all forms of cheese. Does anyone have any other ideas?
I can't think of anything else that I can pack, and I am getting really sick of throwing out all that cheese that comes home every day!
