Congrats! We moved but LO was only two weeks so not the same. Look on Craigslist or freecycle for free boxes. Be ruthless if you're sorting to donate or sell! I always wonder when I'm unpacking why I dragged some stuff along when I know it doesn't fit or I don't like it anymore etc.

Congrats! How old will your LO be?
We moved when LO was 11 months. She was walking well by that point and I think it made her walk even better because I had crap everywhere that she had to navigate. I did find a lot of random stuff in random boxes because she'd just shove her toys into boxes or unpack a box and put stuff elsewhere.
My biggest advice would be if someone offers to babysit take them up on it. I didn't and it just makes packing sooooooo much slower to have a baby messing around and trying to pack.

Congratulations!!! That's awesome that you have a lot of time to pack and move things.

We're moving in April/May but I did have to pack up our entire main floor to do home renovations. I just did a few boxes each night or during naptime and made sure to label everything. In terms of baby things, I'd pack up the non-necessities into boxes and the necessities into a suitcase. I'd definitely do the baby stuff last!

we bought a house! yay! we still have to close in the beginning of march, but so excited we will have our own space and not be renters anymore.

we still have to fulfill our lease here until the end of april, so we'll slowly be moving stuff over to the new house from the beginning of march until end of april. any tips for moving and packing with a baby? it definitely kind of freaks me out, but so excited for the new beginning!
