I quit my Percocet early and alternated Tylenol and Motrin like others said. I'm sure you know this but don't stop taking the Motrin. It helps with the inflammation I think? I forgot the specifics because I was 1 week PP and just trying to survive haha. I would take regular Motrin or Advil every 6 hours and see how you do. Since they are different meds it's ok. I was sent home with a 10 day supply of Percocet and a bigger supply of 800mg of Ibuprofin. </p> <p>I don't have Percocet level pain, but can only take ibuprofin every 8 hours. I feel icky after about 5-6 hours. </p> <p>Is there something else I can take? Would I be better off taking OTC Motrin every 6 hours? </p>
