I signed up to do a 10k a few weeks ago. I walk every day with LO strapped to me but I didn't run too much before. The few times I did run, I was doing about 5k and had no problems. The day I did my 10k, it was the same thing as you described. Horrible pelvic floor pain that felt like I did about 2 weeks PP. It went away pretty quick ( within a few days.) My hemorrhoids also came back :(:(:( I'm thinking it's pretty normal, and just takes your body getting used to again.

@Zbug: Yeah that's strange! I know the feeling, I can't do jumping jacks without feeling like my bladder will fall out!

@Lindsay05: I will look some up! It's just strange bc I've felt fine for months until yesterday. I guess I should have kept up the kegels!

I'm not sure when this pain goes away. I am only 4 months pp and I get that same pain as well. There are some pelvic floor exercises that you can do to help strengthen them up.

I'm 7 mo pp and have running some (inconsistently, unfortunately) since about five weeks pp. It's been fine but I tried stepping it up a notch yesterday and had what I guess is pelvic floor pain after running. It felt a lot like it did the first few weeks after giving birth. Sort of like my vagina was sagging (tmi, sorry!). Has anyone else had this? It feels fine today, but I don't want to mess myself up. I've started doing kegels again, but not sure if more is needed!

Eta I haven't had any other postpartum issues - weak bladder, etc.
