@T.H.O.U.: I've totally got a bruised rib- maybe even broken! But the doctor said there is nothing they can do about it. :bummed:

You should talk to your OB, there is a chance maybe he has bruised a rib or something like that making it extra painful.

DD likes to extend an appendage out and hold it there, that sucker hurts! Or when she's punching down south, it literally stops me in my tracks. I feel like she's going to drop out or something. Eek!!!

I've had painful kicks with all three pregnancies. I do not enjoy baby kicks at all. Very big, very long babies trying their best to stretch out...ouch!

@travellingbee: this one too. DS didn't move half this much. Plus I'm getting a ton of BH this time which make him move around so the two combined makes me want to beg for a c-section now.

@AggieDaze: I've been getting lightning crotch and shooting pains down my legs for a few weeks also. While painful, I agree that the quickness makes it easier. His movements feel like he's all bones and his movements are so long and jerky.

This guy has been a mover up until the end and I often find his movements painful or at the very least uncomfortable. :(

@ladybee: I experienced this right around the same time with LO2 (can't remember with Lo1). I remember thinking I can't do this for 2 more months, ha! It didn't last that long for me. Eventually he got so big that the super painful kicks were muted by his inability to make huge movements. Then, I got lightening crotch pains... But those were quick at least!

I am 33 weeks with my second baby. He's been head down since my scan at 28 weeks. Lately his movements are becoming more and more painful. Like stop me in my tracks, want to cry painful. I can't imagine this kind of pain on top regular pregnancy pain for the next 6 weeks.

Has anyone else had this? Is this normal? It just seems cruel. If I'm going to be in pain Id like to take real meds or have wine. :silly:
