The actual spit up seems to hurt my LO but now he's only done it off and on which confuses me further. Also wondering if what I thought was baby acne could be a food allergy rash :/ this is nerve wracking! A friend's son was fine until he was 9 months old and then, all of a sudden, he couldn't handle dairy anymore. LO is 6 weeks old too, has been fussing way more, and all of a sudden is spitting up. One thing I've noticed about MSPI is that it can be a cumulative affect. It can take a while to do damage and hurt. So I wouldn't rule food out. Happened again this morning and now at night. He seems really pained, burping isn't helping, and it smells sweetish. It's bringing tears to my eyes that he's so unhappy nursing !</p> <p>Nothing in my diets changed.... Could he develop reflux over a short period of time? He's normally a happy spitter :(</p> <p>Anyone else experience this? </p>
