Ditto @lioneyes I was going to suggest young house love too, they had a lot of tips if touching up yours is an option. They sold me on painted brick!

My new house is light sage (just a shade darker than the border around the white "POST" box on HB with white trim and love it. A bunch of my neighbors have commented how they think I have the prettiest house in the plan.

Here is a computer generated image of the colors of my home... but I have a white garage and no shutters.

@MRSADS re: bathroom, try switching out your lightbulb for a warmer lightbulb (or try different ones out). that should fix the purple look - it's usually just the lighting (especially in bathrooms) that make grey look too purple :). painted brick looks great! good luck!

@lioneyes is it really?! We definitely could, I just (personally) don't really like the white painted brick look, seems dated to me. Maybe light gray. Although there are so many shades, I am nervous that whatever I pick will look weird (like we painted our bathroom light gray and it looks purple most of the time!).

Chiming in as a Realtor- white painted brick is VERY in right now. Could you touch up the white and switch the green shutters to black? (Black trim and black window frames along with white brick show really well these days). If you don’t like the white then light gray is a great option as well. Beiges/neutrals are more dated, if that helps! Another popular touch with the gray/white/black palette is a bright front door, like in turquoise or orange.

If you are still in contact with your real estate agent or know one ask them. They generally know what looks nice and appealing.
Always go lighter rather than darker. It looks more welcoming and will take longer to look faded.
Light Grey with white trim and black shutters sounds like it would look awesome

We are considering getting the exterior of our house painted. Right now, it is UGLY (we bought it in 2014) and we haven't gotten around to doing it.

I have truly no clue what looks good, generally I prefer neutrals, so I thought I'd get some input.

It is a 2 story house, 2100 sf. The first story is brick and the second story is wood siding. The whole house (brick and the siding) is painted white with green shutters. The green is pretty faded. I really don't like the white. Unfortunately, taking the paint off the brick is not an option, so we will have to repaint it.

I am thinking maybe light gray with white trim/black shutters? We have a gray roof and we live in Florida. Would love to see pics if you've got them!
