Thanks everyone!

@Blackbird: I am loving grass fed butter too! Don't know why I didn't try it sooner. I'm definitely finding things that I used to love, like big ice cream sundaes, harder to eat because it's just too sweet which is awesome because ice cream used to be a daily habit for me :)

I'm excited about making this more a lifestyle change than a weightloss diet, although the weight loss is definitely motivating...

I've been eating primal+doing crossfit and I lost 15 pounds so fast, it wasn't funny. At least 5 in the first week. I've still got about 12-15 to go. And I know these will come off more slowly (and as I put muscle back on, it's going to be difficult to gauge my 'weight'). I mostly care about my pants fitting well and being slim again.

I'm all about the grass fed butter while eating primal/paleo. I love the butter, ha. That's my main diary. A little at breakfast, a little on my veggies, etc. Honestly, I eat more paleo banana bread than I probably should, but it's easy to eat at home in the mornings with the baby. I don't drink milk so I don't miss that and I had a little dark chocolate last night, too! Cutting out so many carbs in general will make a drastic difference.

Honestly, I'm amazed at how I DON'T crave that crap, especially now that I'm working out. I still have chub to lose, but I don't feel bloated and gross.

I love Paleo! It's become our lifestyle now. We started it some months before our wedding to loose the extra pounds. It felt amazing! We started seeing results right away (I was also doing crossfit at the time). We did it religiously for two months, then started incorporating a few things as we felt like it, but always keeping Paleo as a basis. It's fantastic!
When we started we followed this meal plan:
http://cavemanstrong.com/mealplans/CavemanStrong-2WeekPaleo-MealPlan.pdf
It made it easier when we were first starting.

Good luck!

Since many bees have touted the effects of paleo on their pp bods, I have decided to drink the kool-aid! It helps that DH has done crossfit so he is totally supportive of the paleo lifestyle and is happy to do it with me. I am 6months postpartum and have a solid 20-25 lbs to lose to be back at my happy weight.

My question is, for those of you who have/do eat paleo, did you see quick results? Or did you lose slowly over time? I know everyone is different, but I was just curious. I've lost 3lbs during the 2 weeks that I've been eating differently, and I'm happy with that. Just curious how it's worked for everyone. Also, full disclosure, I am still eating some good quality dairy (baby steps, I couldn't deal with cutting out carbs/sugar/dairy all at the same time!) and I do have a small square of 72% dark chocolate at night as a treat.
