we switched to cruisers when LO outgrew her size 3 swaddlers. Cruisers are stretchy in the back and much more absorbent they have the 12 hour protection like a nighttime diaper but they aren't as soft on the side as the swaddlers. I am happy they have swaddlers in size 4 and 5 now, so I think I will switch back to those and use cruisers for night time. I wonder when these will be available on amazon

Also the cruisers are longer, which means they come up higher on the baby's belly and the tabs are a bit too stretchy so its hard sometimes to get a tight fit

@Weagle: Going to Target today! I'm going to try Cruisers but also buy size 4 swaddlers just in case :)

The cruisers are a bit bigger. They go up higher in the back. I'm not a fan, though, because they gave LO a really bad rash. Which is why I'm glad Target now carries size 4-5 Swaddlers!

@betsyboop: Yes, I do think the cruisers are a bit larger, but I feel like the swaddlers have a better shape to them and are softer so they may fit a little better.

@Thehistoryofus: Thanks! And thanks for including those links, I just read through them. I think I'll give the cruisers a try, but I will miss the wetness indicator on the Swaddlers!

Since you use both Cruisers and Swaddlers, may I ask if you've found there's a size difference between the 2 (like Size 3 cruisers vs. Size 3 Swaddlers)? I vaguely remember reading something like Cruisers were slightly bigger...?

For us, I think the cruisers hold more. We only really used them now that she is in a size 5 and STTN. We use a cruiser at night and the swaddlers during the day.

Can someone please explain the difference to me?

We've used Swaddlers since birth but have never tried the Cruisers.
