@reverie: My panorama blood draw was taken at my 12 week OB appointment and they had no issue getting the results. So hopefully you'll have the same!

@hilsy85: I'm going to wait until Monday to redraw I'll be 11+6. the woman at natera recommended drinking OJ before hand to have a more active baby -- this will hopefully help it shed more DNA or something. I don't quite understand how the test works, but the more research I do the more it points to waiting until later. Hopefully 12 weeks is enough for me b/c I'm over weight and that also affects them getting enough fetal blood!

@reverie: I had it at 9 weeks and it was inconclusive. From my understanding it was because not enough blood was drawn - not because it was too early. And yes, unfortunately, I was billed for TWO test. And the prices are ridiculous. I about had a heart attack. That said, my OB has some kind of deal with Panorama and I wont end up paying more than a couple hundred dollars in the end. Good luck!

I don't recall how many weeks I was. I can tell you that the third time we did get results. I think of all the tests, Panorama has the highest inconclusive rate (unfortunately).

Also, I was told two full weeks to get results. The inconclusives came after about a week I believe.

My Dr office would not draw blood for panorama until 12 weeks - they said they have had a higher occurrence of bad draws under 12 weeks...

I decided to just go with a standard first tri sreen instead.

@jh524: these tests are pushing hard to replace the normal NT scan... so they are advertising heavily and promoting themselves at doctor's offices for "regular risk" women now to become "first line" My insurance won't cover at all, but the test has agreed to work with me for pricing.

@Truth Bombs: ah ok, I also had panorama done, but my OB office told me to come after 10 weeks.

@reverie: in that case I"m sure it's fine! my results took longer tto come in that I expected--I know people who got them in 6 days, but like I said it took about 10-11 business days, so two weeks pretty much. I would call your oB office and ask them to call the test company to check though!

@hilsy85: My test was also ten weeks so I was surprised when I read the original post. But mine was a different company. The panorama test website does specifically say the test is reliable after 9 weeks.

Given that you tested within their advertised period (after 9 weeks gestation) I would think that if the test was inconclusive they should be willing to either refund you, or perform the test again.

I'm still waiting on my results but after reading several other message boards I"m concerned my test is going to come back inconclusive.

I didn't know it at the time, but apparently even if you get tested in the "OK" window it seems a decent amount of people get inconclusive results if they get the test early gestation wise. I was 9 weeks and 3 days when I gave my sample.

Anyway, I was wondering if the test came back inconclusive did the company try and charge you for anything? If they are going to try and make me pay for theoretical non-results I think I want to persue a traditional NT scan! I have limited time to get that since I'm over 11 weeks at this point! Thanks!
