And then my 11 month old baby girl tumbled down the stairs! In all the craziness with our toddler, we left the gate open! My heart sank when I heard her falling. She seems to be fine - cried for a minute, nursed fine and went back to being playful and happy. I called the pediatrician and they said since she looks so good (walking, moving everything, happy) - I could avoid the ER and just watch her at home. </p> <p>I feel like my husband and I are overly cautious with our kids all the time - amazing how you let your guard down for a minute and disaster can happen. =( Counting my blessings tonight... </p>
