@mediagirl: OMG that's what happened to DS (5.5 years old) hahahahhaa. He always get dressed by himself in the morning. In the evening when he was getting ready for to go in the shower, he exclaimed, mommy, how come I have no underwear on? I was wearing underwear earlier in school today. um, no son, I am pretty sure you just didn't put one on in the morning because the pair of underwear I took out for him in the morning was still on the bed  . But at least he's wearing shorts so no one noticed lol

My biggest parenting fail day happened in Target...

We were running errands for a wedding the next day. My then 2.5 year old was in the cart
And my 5 month old sister in the Ergo. I wanted to go quickly, my toddler wanted something and started flipping sh*%. She is exorcist screaming and kicking through out the store causing the baby to start screaming. I get to the car with my screaming children and I turn to put the baby in the car seat while my toddler was behind me still sitting in the cart. She was tantrumming so hard and throwing her body around she made the cart start to roll away and the nice woman in the car next to us caught the cart with my screaming child strapped in it. Huge parenting fail.... literally cried myself in the car lol

We were hiking with friends, their kiddo and our 4 kiddos of whom 3 still wore diapers, guess who did not bring even a single diaper? Luckily our friends' baby is quite a chunk and my 2 year old very petite so we were able to squeeze her into one of his diapers.

The other day I took a nap with my twins after a busy morning, I did set an alarm but I turned it off and didn't wake again until I only had 25' to pick up two kids from two different daycares and two other kids who had to come along and weren't in carseats yet. I made it to our second daycare 1 minute before they close...

I picked DD (28 months) up from daycare and took her to a Dr. appointment with me. We were early and she gave me the deer in headlights look and said "poop". I hustled her out to the car where her daycare backpack was completely empty of the extra diapers I stow in there. Lucky I had wipes in my car, cleaned her butt, scooped the poop out of the diaper and put several layers of paper towel between the remaining poop in the diaper and her tush. Left the nasty pile of wipes and poop to fester in the hot summer weather, endured the appointment, then drove 25 minutes home in the aroma. Good Lord, get your $h*t together, lady.

I got all the way to daycare before realizing my 4 year old didn't have shoes. She usually leaves them in the car, but apparently the day before was the time she finally listened to me and put them where they belong. Luckily DH leaves for work about 30 minutes after us and was able to bring them before she went outside, but I was still mortified!

Not sure if it qualifies as a fail, but when I nurse the baby, I tend to just pull my shirt down or up and let it all hang out, so now DD will just pull her shirt up and expose her whole front when she pretends to feed her baby dolls. Lol.

@mediagirl: we had the opposite problem-I gave LO her bathing suit and told her to get dressed for swimming while i got the baby dressed. DH noticed as she was about to get in the pool that her undies were still on.

Also the 18 month old just fell off the couch sitting right next to me. She's fine but sheesh, slow reflexes.

DD fell out of the kitchen helper/learning tower TWICE this weekend. Luckily she didn't hurt herself but it scared me enough that that thing is going back into storage for a few months :bummed:

@mediagirl: ah it must be the age for going comando! E got herself dressed this weekend in a long(ish) dress and I noticed she went without undies or shorts. I asked her if she forgot them and she's shrugged and said "it's a long dress" - - uh yeah, but you still need underwear bawahahaha :silly:

Guess i'm done saying that to my dog! Oops!

hahaha that's great.

This weekend I had to do a 4 hour drive with my LO solo and she was flipping out at the beginning of the trip and I lost my shit. I was yelling at her to take a drink of water to calm down. Later on I realized I had the water sitting next to me. None of that was a proud parenting moment.

Share your latest parenting fail....

My 4 (now 5) year old has been getting herself ready in the morning. We forgot to double check her clothing before she left the house one day. When she got home that night she said, "Mr Mike had to find me some undies and shorts today because I didn't wear any to school!" I was mortified. Buck naked under her dress. Apparently her teacher noticed because she picked her dress up in front of him. :bummed:
