I never used one with my older daughter but she now uses it to hold her sister and uses it to build "nests" on the floor! lol

We used it as long as we were nursing, but Toddler X never got attached to the Boppy or played with it, so once he weaned, I put it in storage. (Our house, and especially his room, is small, so we tend to move baby things into storage as soon as he outgrows them or they stop being useful.)

My DD is 22mo. She doesn't use it and neither does any of her friends. I think we put ours away around 3mo.

Totally makes sense! I can see an older kid using it as a pillow. I use the curved part of my Snoogle and think that's the best part - kind of like a Boppy right? Our chihuahua loves using the travel neck pillow on car rides too - we call it her "Boppy" since before we even TTC.

Neither of my LOs have become attached and it's kind of just taking up space right now! I think I may actually take it and use it as a neck pillow !

We never got hooked on the boppy (I preferred to nurse without a pillow) but I've seen little ones who love them for quite a while.

When I was in the hospital, I had a nursing student tell me that the Boppy was one of the best investments he and his wife made. He said it helped her breastfeeding of course but also that his daughter, who's about 3 or 4, still uses it, sleeps with it, and loves it! It never occurred to me that this would happen but it makes sense since it's associated with nursing and comfort.

Does anyone have an older child that still loves their nursing pillow after they aren't nursing anymore?
