I hated my first single stroller AND we used the heck out of it so I ended up buying a new snap/go (which I never had with #1), a double stroller, and a new single that was VERY VERY cheap.

With #1, I had the Graco travel system and it was just too bulky and too heavy.

We reused everything. It all looked like new except for the snap and go, but it still worked.

All of it held up well for the second baby, but a surprising pint wasn't so good for the third! Our double has seen better days, but I'm not replacing it, and our infant carrier is kind of gross, but it works so we won't replace it.

Everything has help up well so far! We had to buy another crib and wanted a second rocker, and got a double stroller and will need two more convertible car seats but that's just because our kids are so close in age we still need the other gear for A.

I would imagine most people are planning to use as much gear as they can for subsequent babies. I know I am! But I'm finding that perhaps things won't last for the second baby.

Our stroller is looking pretty gross after using it nonstop for 18 months but I don't really want to spend the money on buying another single after we have #2. I guess if we go with a double, I probably won't use the single will I?

Are you finding that your gear is holding up in good condition for baby #2? Or will you be replacing things and what will you be replacing?
