@bushelandapeck: good point about Mondays! I am trying to work out pros/cons of different days and I hadn't thought about that. Thanks!

@Andrea: He goes T/TH and that's what we will do next year as well. It felt like there were a lot of holidays that fall on a Monday and it's better for him to have the consistency of two days/week.

We do a preschool program two mornings each week from 9-12pm. DS started at 13 months and is 22 months now, as the year is ending. He did cry at first when I would drop him off, but I think that's normal and it only lasted a week or two until he got into the routine. He absolutely loves it now and we plan to do the same for the fall.

We are doing daycare 3x a week and there is occasionally crying at drop off but that happens even when we do a FT schedule.

Curious to know about LOs who only attend daycare/school a few days a week. How has your experience been? Are they ever confused between home and school days (crying at drop off)?

I am considering a part-time Montessori program for DD2. She will be 20 months. 2 or 3 days, 3 hours a day. She will be there in the morning and home for lunch/nap.
