There is a ton of part-time work and people looking for part-time work! Especially if you're open to moms who have their own kids nannying.</p> <p>My only thing I'll add is that I'd definitely make sure to request access to their background check and ask for references. Do you have any younger cousins, nieces etc that you could call? One way that I found babysitting/nannying jobs in high school and college was my church. Some parents would call my youth pastor and ask for recommendations of mature, responsible youth students. Maybe call a church youth pastor in your area?</p> <p>Also, do you have friends with kids? Does anyone have any advice on how to find someone? Craigslist? Care.com? I know most nannies are looking for full time work, but I really just want someone one day so I can go grocery shopping, or go to dr appts or even get my hair cut, and get some stuff done around the house.
