We also have a brand new LO so we kept things low-key. We put out a few different activities all over the house and backyard rather than do a coordinated activity. The hits were a roll of paper taped to the coffee table for kids to color with a basket of crayons in the middle, a Melissa and Doug bean bag toss game, and the table in the playroom piled with a dollhouse and some Little People sets.</p> <p>Decorating pumpkins is a great idea. The one teenager we had didn't do one but I think that had a lot to do with the fact that she didn't really want to attend lol. We probably won't do games since the ages are so varied, but maybe a craft table.</p> <p>This group is all cousins, not school friends, and the kids range from age 2 to 14. There will be 10 of them, including DD, and about half each boys/girls.</p> <p>Since it will be October, I was thinking maybe decorating little pumpkins? I'm so used to providing crafts for a 2 year old though, I'm not sure what older kids and preteens would like.</p> <p>Our party "theme" (requested by DD) is Sofia the First, so that doesn't really help. </p>
