@Coco Bee: That's awesome, you should be proud! I love going to wellness checks and hearing from a professional that everything is going well and LO is right on track.

@pregnantbee: I always feel behind and haven't found anything that increases my supply unless I add more pumping sessions and I'm kind of maxed out now. I try really hard to not stress too much over it and dip into my freezer stash when I have to.

@kiddosc: Pats on your back! Way to go! My LO is 5 mo this week, and I'm also working FT and feeding only breast milk. He hasn't had one drop of formula. Crazy, but worth it. I have to figure out how to get ahead with pumping so I don't always feel behind, though!

woohoooo!!! that is amazing!! congrats!! pumping is SO HARD and I don't know how you working moms do it. I get so frustrated because I'll pump for 20-30 minutes to get what DS can nurse in 2-3 minutes :( ugh.

My proud moment was today at DS's 9 month wellness check: our dr said he is advanced intellectually and developmentally is doing the work of a 12-14 month old! It totally made me sooo proud!!!

@kiddosc: Making the baby food is actually pretty easy because a little goes a long way. Plus, my LO is not eating a ton yet. She eats 1-2x a day. Over the weekend I made oatmeal, butternut squash, and pears which gave me enough food for 3 weeks!

@Amelieisme: Thanks! 4 months is great, we're just taking it a little at time now. I love breastfeeding, but pumping is a big pain in my butt.

@mrsjazz: How is making her baby food going? We just started E on some cereal last week and I'm hoping to be able to make his food, but I don't know if that will be biting off more than I can chew.

@kiddosc: I'd like to pat you on the back! 5x a day!

My goal was 6 months but then I changed it to a year after it got easier. LO is 7 months. I'm patting myself on the back for pumping at work (3x) and making her baby food. Sometimes I feel like I'm on an assembly line with my schedule, but her smiles make everything better.

You SHOULD pat yourself on the back for that one! That is a difficult goal to meet. I'm impressed.

I am not away from my LO quite as much as you are, but do work full time and we coming up on the 4 month mark! He hasn't had a drop of formula and I am proud of that! I am taking it one month at a time and we'll see how far we go.

I'd be willing to bet we've all fallen prey to mommy guilt or thinking we're just not as good a parent as so and so... but I'd also be willing to bet that we're all great moms and have our own super parenting moments. So what have you done lately that makes you feel like a good parent?

E is 6 months old today. This was my original breastfeeding goal. I leave the house at 6am and don't get home until 6pm most weekdays and have had to pump 5x a day to keep up with what he eats while I'm away. It takes up a lot of time and energy and has caused me a fair share of grief in those 6 months, but right here in this moment I am proud of myself. I don't know how long we'll go, but reaching this goal feels great!

Go ahead ladies, pat yourself on the back!
