we got an L shape sectional from walmart online. They have really affordable sets and tons of good reviews to make you feel comfortable purchasing without seeing it in store.

We got ours from Crate & Barrel; it's just a pair of teak loungers with slide out shelves. The loungers are perfect for when we want to work outside using our laptops.

West Elm and World Market have some neat designs for out door furniture. I like the look of a wood top table with weather resistant metal looking chairs for outdoor dining.

I'm a big fan of the mesh material patio sets. We have one from Home Depot that's 7+ years old and it's held up fantastic being outside.

What about something like this?

http://www.worldmarket.com/product/solano+outdoor+dining+collection.do?&from=fn

That bench looks like it would be pretty comfy with some pillows on the back!

I guess we could do something like this in addition to our picnic bench- but I'm not willing to spend that much. http://m.costco.com/Venice-4-piece-Patio-Modular-Deep-Seating-Lounge-Set-by-Sirioâ%C2%84¢.product.11619103.html

Right now we have pieced together patio furniture- a few random plastic chairs, hand me down loungers and a picnic table- which I love but it may be time to part with. We have a 10x10 slab of concrete in the backyard that is nice and shady in the afternoon/evenings. I feel like the options are more stiff furniture like trek or loungers that are not for sitting down to eat. We don't have storage- but could put pillows inside. If like something that is functional for eating outside but also comfortable. We do not need a fire pit. Ideas? Where did you buy your patio furniture and what do you have?
