We took LO1 to Frozen on ice at that age and it was truly fun. She sang the songs and it was done really well. Paw patrol was just okay. Besides the theme songs there isn’t songs you’re familiar with (like Frozen) but they sang lots of songs and so it’s just listening to it. I would go to another Disney on ice snow but not Paw Patrol Live even though he’s still obsessed. I also think he was confused bc you can see the actors in the dog costumes. </p> <p>I actually went on amazon and bought a light up toy that spins. It was $8 and I pulled it out at the show. I think we all (kids included) had too high of expectations. It’s just a live version of an episode of the show. We went twice - once when he was about 2.5 and once at 3.5. He loved it equally both times and in the entire year between the first and 2nd, he kept asking to go back.<br /> We got him a t shirt and there was this awful Chase spinning light up thing. But it was his first live show and he was so excited.<br /> I wouldn’t be discouraged by some of the replies. The majority of moms I’ve spoken with (and kids I’ve witnessed there) loved it. We didn't tell him until the day of or the day before since he has zero concept of time. It wasn't terrible. I mean, it's a paw patrol show so it was basically what I expected it to be. Our son really loved it and stood and stared in awe the whole time. My one tip is that it was SO LOUD! My oldest is sensitive to loud sounds so we luckily had brought both of their noise muffling headphones and I was so glad I did because it was loud even for me as a grown up! We took two 4 year olds and even THEY said the show was bad. All of my local mom boards said every showing was not well done, so I'm inclined to say it wasn't just us.
