It was a lot of paperwork, so I was happy not to do any of it. </p> <p>The receptionist warned me about it when I dropped off the paperwork. They didnt tell me ahead of time either but there is a big sign up on the wall that states there is a charge for this service but doesnt state how much. My mom called the office and pitched a fit. But in the past I've had to pay nominal fees for things like having copies of my medical records sent to school or something like that. From their perspective it does take their time to do that for you, so they bill you for their time. I was confused and asked her to clarify and apparently they charge $25.00 to fill out paperwork! WTF? I was so annoyed. It's not a big deal or a lot of money, but I had never heard of such a thing. I mean, what would have happened if I refused to pay- they just wouldn't fill it out? I wouldn't be able to take leave? SO stupid.</p> <p>Has anyone else had to pay their doctor's office for paperwork? </p>
