I couldn't resist and A got if for Christmas last year. She loves it, and it is so cute. The chair will be well worth the cost but being so close to Thanksgiving, you should definitely wait. It doesn't weigh more than 5lbs and came in a compact box; you have to assemble the chair. So not worth the $24 in shipping!
