I like the backpack because it is big enough without flopping around the kids bum/knees as the full-sized ones do, but also big enough to hold the essentials. It was a good size for her. I don't know about your DD's Kindergarten requirements, but the mini size would have been too small because she needed to fit a 3 ring binder in there, and it fit just right in the small size. She likes one of the PBK backpack prints that's on sale, so I was considering buying one for her. Do you have one? Any ideas which size would work best for elementary school? </p>
