@wrkbrk: yeah I have had that. So this other thing is different because it lasted way longer but felt similar.

@ldh112: I have a belly support belt but at this point, I feel like it makes my shortness of breath worse more than it helps my back and pelvic pain.

I have round ligament pain nearly every time I turn over in bed (39 weeks this week). It feels like stabbing pain like you pulled a muscle and lasts about 15 seconds.

My round ligament pain was mainly concentrated at the very top of my right leg and down my thigh. It hurt anytime I put pressure on the leg (trying to put pants on, walking, any type of leg exercises involving lifts/bearing all my weight on the leg). It was never really in the belly area for me. Rest was the only thing that helped. I borrowed a belly band from my midwife which helped with pressure on occasion but not enough for me to buy one myself. Sorry you've got some pain! It really is annoying especially those last few weeks!

If you experienced either or both, could you describe them?

Last week I had two brief (a few minutes) episodes where I got this sharp pain, almost like an ache but it came of so fast, in my lower right side of my belly, radiating into my right thigh. I had to sit down right away and stay sitting for a while. I had been pushing the heavy stroller up and down some hills, so took it really easy the rest of the day and felt ok.

Last night woke up to the same sharp pain but only lasted a minute. Felt a bit achy in that spot but nothing really when I woke up.

Now it's been feeling painful and achy for a while, despite laying on my side and drinking lots of water. Google sounds like it could be pelvic girdle pain? I'm 34.5 weeks now and just generally feeling crummy all around. Oh and have sciatic nerve pain on the same right side-- going to chiro for that today.
