I had to sleep with a pillow between my knees. It felt like my pelvis was trying to separate every time I rolled over. It sucked. There was nothing that could be done about it. Unfortunately it got worse as I got bigger. At the end I ended up sleeping in the recliner or on the couch for extra support, and that way I didn't have to roll over.

I'm nearly 12 weeks but I've been in agony for at least the last 2 weeks. My hip joints are aching, up into my lower back and tailbone - its happened to me in early pregnancy 3 times now. I guess its the joints all relaxing, but I'm awake half the night in agony with a pillow between my knees :(

I had this for my second and not my first. It was miserable. I am 3.5 weeks post partum and it is mostly a non issue now. So hopefully the same goes for you.

I've had this off and on for a few months - for me it is my SI joint. A few PT appointments and it was 100% fixed!

Mine has been happening for the last few weeks I"m now at 32 weeks. Doctor said that it's normal. It's due to the ligaments relaxing and that you notice it more with each pregnancy because the ligaments are already stretched out from the first baby. Nothing really to do about it except try soaking in the bathtub, pillow in between the legs etc. All the stuff we hear all the time. LOL

I never had this when pregnant with DS1, but for the last few weeks, I have this low back, pelvic, and pubic bone pain when I'm tossing and turning in the middle of the night. Sometimes when I get up out of bed or from sitting down. It's not bad when I'm walking/standing.

It feels like a brief shooting/throbbing pain. It's only for a second and goes away after I get settled. But just wondering if others had this during pregnancy. I'm just past 29 weeks along.
