@joyfulkiwi: I dot think it's that extreme, honestly I have no pain tolerance on a scale of 1 to 10 I'm like a 4 lol. My MIL sees a chiropractor she really likes so I may set up an appointment 😄

@tofuwad: this is exactly my story lol, I just make sure I drink around 85 ounces a day, but yea the longer I stand the worst it gets. Sitting down makes it feel better till I have to stand again😞. We do have a stool behind the register so I will use it to my advantage. Thanks!

Both of my LOs were extremely low starting around that point. LO1 came at 40+4 and LO2 had to be induced at 41+3.

Some pelvic pressure is normal, but what you described sounds extreme. It could be that your pelvis is out of alignment. I had soreness with my first towards the end & assumed it was that he was low/large (he was neither). This pregnancy I felt soreness and extreme pain (like not being able to get up from sitting) at 24 weeks & my midwife told me to see a chiropractor who specializes with pregnant women. My pelvis had shifted from all the relaxin hormones. I've been able to be adjusted and it feels much better! I've been told that many OBs just say the pain is typical & to tough it out (even one of my midwives said this!) but it's really not always the case. I think my pelvis had shifted with my first too, which explains some things about my first labor, so I'm hopeful having my pelvis in alignment now will help the baby engage better.

I had some pressure and pain. I found it was worse if I was dehydrated (I don't know why). And I talked to my OB a lot about the way it felt and whether or not I thought it was contractions. He seemed to really want to make sure it wasn't contractions. I decided in my case it wasn't because it would get worse and worse the longer I stood or walked, but as soon as I sat down it was fine. And it didn't come and go - it was just constant pressure getting heavier and heavier. He would always ask me how long the pain lasted and never seemed satisfied when I said "as long as I'm standing or walking".

I worked retail and sometimes I would just have to take a break and sometimes I'd have days where I just had to sit on a stool at the register because walking/standing hurt too much.

@mrssrs thanks, got the poll fixed! I do actually have a support belt I was wearing for my back about 5 weeks ago, but I was afraid it was making it worst. I'm going to give it a try again though, anything to help the pressure 😀

Looks like your poll isn't working? Try a pregnancy support belt!

Hi ladies, technically I'm new here as this is my second post, but I've been reading on here since TTC back in March! 😊 I've decided to take advice most of you give out and quit googling. It only makes me think that everything is wrong!
Currently I'm 31 weeks pregnant with my first, and for the past week I've been having serious pelvic pressure and pain. If I stand more than 4
hours it feels like he's breaking my pelvic bones lol. What's worst is when I sit down and get up a few minutes later, I can't fully stand all the way
up. After research the general consensus is that he's just very low and already in the proper birthing position. I have an appointment next
week and am going to check with my OB. My question to you ladies is that if you also had a baby really low at 30 to 32 weeks did you deliver
early, due date, or late. I really just want an idea of how long I'm gonna suffer through this, as my job requires me to stand for 6 plus hours a shift.
😥 that's gonna hurt with 8lbs on my bones!
You ladies are awesome!!
