@winter_wonder: @HLK208: @Anya: @LibbyLou: thank you ladies for responding. I'm hoping it's nothing serious since I've felt these pains in the exact location before right before AF but gonna call the dr tmw. Hopefully everything's fine on Fridays ultrasound!!

Oh also- I have a high pain threshold too and I was on the floor. I was walking too but barely.
I tested the week's estimator one and it was wrong. It said 1-2weeks when it should have said 3+. With ectopics a lot of times your hcg levels stop doubling (mine stopped at 400). So I wasn't testing as far along as I was.

Take it for what it's worth- but agree with pp. you would be in your knees in pain! Also my pain from ectopic was very clearly on one side. If your pain is more centered, it doesn't sounds like my ectopic. My Fallopian tube ruptured at 7w5d. I had surgery, but kept my tube. They will be able to tell at US and since its early, if it IS one you probably won't need surgery.
Good luck! Keep us updated :goodluck:

@iluvboba637: no, I went in due to bleeding not pain. My second pregnancy I had lots of abdominal cramps and twinges and everything was normal.

My sister had an ectopic pregnancy last year and she was on her knees, crying from the pain. I would call if you're worried but I had some bad cramping until 12 weeks with all three of my pregnancies. Hoping its normal!!

I had lots of cramping early on, usually very low abdomen. I know it's hard to stay calm but I wouldn't be too alarmed yet.

The line can still get darker with ectopics. Also, it's not always tubal, it's very rare but can sometimes be implanted elsewhere. I hope that doesn't worry you, it's more likely implantation cramps which are normal BUT I'd call the doctor and describe your pain, they will probably get you in earlier. My ectopic was discovered early, 6 weeks, and I was very lucky- my tube was saved and it hadnt ruptured yet.

hi ladies, i'm 5 weeks pregnant today and i have this pain/cramp right in the middle of my bikini line area where the leg attaches to the pelvis

first of all, i'm sorry for the topic of ectopics - i know its a sensitive topic for some.

i would sometimes get these pains before AF, and right before i got a BFP i felt this pain but then it went away all of last week, and now its back. i had lots of lower abdominal cramps when i was pregnant with DS but nothing in the pelvic area, or at least i cant' remember having pain there

im so worried that if it could be ectopic.

the earliest the OB could fit me in is Fri 9/4. but i didn't call about the pain yet. its not that painful taht i can't lay down on it or walk or anything. im functioning just fine - but i do think i have quite a high pain threshold though. i searched ectopic on here, and googled it, but mostly everything just said lower abdominal pain, but this is not really abdominal or side pain.

if it means anything, ive been testing every day and the lines are getting darker and darker - does it still get darker with ectopics?

and when do women usually find out if they do have ectopics?

what do ya'll think? thanks.
