She's maybe 15. My husband doesn't feel comfortable with it but I think it's a great option since her parents would be right across the street should anything happen! We'll see if we end up using her. Also had across the street neighbors offer - took them up on it too. Did you take them up on it? What circumstances would you/would you not agree to letting them babysit? </p> <p>The girls and I go to the library a lot and the lady that runs the children's area offered her daughter to babysit for us sometime. Mind you, we chat almost every time we go to the library so it's not like this is the first time I've ever met this lady, and she lives just down the road. However, I don't really "know" her and haven't met her daughter. Of course I accepted her info and thanked her. I'm not really sure if I will have her babysit or not though...maybe if we got to know her? She's 17 and sounds really involved with groups/camps and things. </p> <p>Obviously I would never hand my kids over to someone I didn't know! :) </p>
