She did (and still does it) for the bridal and baby showers she threw me.</p> <p>I'm going to throw this out there and hope I don't dig myself into a hole....</p> <p>I tend to vocalize everything, whether someone's listening or not (could be about my food, my general mood, etc.) I'm also very into fitness and I find that I say stuff like "I need to tone up (insert body part here)", but it's not that I'm actually fishing for a compliment... I'm just saying it out loud. She was super tiny and I, while not huge, have never been described that way. She would ask me all the time if things made her look fat. After awhile, I started to tell her yes. It's one of those things that irk me because I don't understand why people do it! I'm talking about hardcore offenders. For instance, I'm still Ms. Frump-a-lot, still carrying baby weight and I know a woman, is more fit and tinier post-baby than she was pre-baby who always says things to me like, "Ugh, I've lost so much weight, my pants are just hanging off me!"
