I had a similar thing where it was gone for a couple days and then came back right before my check up with the midwife. I do remember my bleeding letting up for a good 4-6 days and then starting but it only lasted a few more days then stopped until 4/5 months PP. I wore heavy pads for a week or so, and then the flow was really light and decreasing each day. No big clots that I can remember. Suddenly, at 3 weeks, it's like I have my period. I have a midwife appointment on Tuesday, but I thought I'd see if anyone else had an experience with this. We planned on exclusively breastfeeding, but I've been having a lot of supply issues. I'm supplementing at the breast with formula (through a little tube). I know some mamas get their period after baby starts sleeping through the night, but the very longest I've gone without pumping or breastfeeding has been 5 hours. (happened once). I don't think I'm over doing it, so the increase in bleeding is a bit concerning. </p>
