Update: AF arrived on day 47ish. I say "ish" because I'd wake up for a few mornings and have a bit of spotting/blood, but then nothing for the rest of the day. SO ODD. Anyways, it is fully here now. Hoping to get some answers at my doctor appointment tmrw.

My cycles were similar in length and then I had 2 back to back that were super long - 60-70 days. I'm pretty sure I didn't ovulate. We were TTC, I started seeing an acupuncturist and my cycles went back to 35 days.

I agree with pp that you may have ovulated late, or you may just not have enough HCG for the pregnancy test to pick up just yet. Mrs. Castro and I had negative pregancy tests the day AF was due, but I think 4-5 days later, we both received a positive HPT. However, we both m/c.

Since you saw EWCM around CD 35, it's possible you ovulated later than usual. If you normally see EWCM around CD 20 and don't expect your period until CD 35 (~15 day LP), then you may have to wait until CD 50 for your period to arrive, assuming you ovulated around CD 35 instead of CD 20. I guess I would just wait it out and keep taking HPTs for now!

I was 'late' and got a negative test but then 5 days later got my positive. I O'd later than I thought so I had tested too early the first time. Maybe that's what's going on?

Is it possible you didn't ovulate when you thought you did and/or ovulated later, so you're still in your LP? Then it would make sense that this cycle is much longer.

So I need some help here!

My period is 8 days late. I've taken three HPTs and all are negative. We are not TTC.

We use POM quite religiously. My last cycles have been:
33 days
34 days
35 days
35 days
39 days
32 days
...this cycle is currently at day 44.

All the above cycles are since coming off BCP. Any idea what could be happening? They were averaging about 35 days, and now this is totally weird.

I don't temp or anything, but I had some (what I thought was) EWCM around day 20-22, and then AGAIN around day 35 when I was supposed to start my period.

I also had a bit of spotting/blood on day 42.

Thanks for the help.. if you make any sense of this or have a similar situation, I'd appreciate hearing about it!
