Then nothing until she was exactly 6 months old. That one was a doozy. Be warned. It could just be more postpartum bleeding. I had a couple days break and then the bleeding started again around 6 weeks for a couple more days and then went away. It seemed so unfair, in my case my lochia was just stopping too. I was convinced at my 8 week follow up that my period had returned, but my dr thought it was still pp bleeding (I had to have an ultrasound to check on something and she didn't think it looked i was ovulating again). This totally happened to me! I was done bleeding for a good week or two, and then all of a sudden right before my 6 week check up I started bleeding again pretty heavily, just like a period. But I too was EBF. Now at almost 11 months PP, I still haven't had another "period". I definitely did not expect my period to start again this early - it even took me four months for my cycle to return after stopping the pill! </p> <p>Anyone else have a similar experience? Could there be any other reason for the bleeding? </p>
