I don't know if it is typical or not, but some cycles my period would start the day after I stopped it, and one took two weeks to start. What she said was it delays the actual bleeding, but O is still on schedule. So say AF should've started on the 1st, and you usually O on day 15. With progesterone, you could instead start AF on the 4th, but still O on the 15th. Upon learning that my IUI failed, I stopped taking the progesterone.</p> <p>My question is this - when will my period arrive? I felt all of my usual period symptoms prior to my beta blood test, and now I feel nothing at all. I have no clue when it will arrive.</p> <p>If you were on progesterone after your IUI, and the IUI failed, when did you get your period? I know everyone is different, I'm just curious what kind of timeline I'm dealing with. </p>
