I had horrible cramps during the entire TWW for that one... had awful, awful mood swings...I was a mess! Luckily, they calmed down and this most recent AF I had (I've been off BC since June), I had no symptoms! Like no cramping, no PMS. It was lovely! So, odds are good that this is worse than they will be normally (hopefully). Mine were awful before going on the pill 8 years ago, but since going off, other than the first one, they haven't been that bad at all. I'm pleasantly surprised, and I hope yours follow the same! I always tell my husband that I wish I could be the next family of 19 kids and counting just so I don't have to deal with my period! I had to call out sick from work for 2 days! I'm not a big baby when it comes to cramps or headaches or TMI stomach issues but I was seriously out for the count. All I could do was curl up in a ball and watch Full House re-runs for 2 days. </p> <p>I was on BC for over 10 years at that point, with no real breaks. It was so bad. Hang in there!! This period is kicking my butt. I just stopped BC and this is my first period off of the pill. I just took ibuprofen, but it hasn't done anything yet. My periods were so much better when I was on BC. Hopefully I won't have too many months of these! </p> <p>Is the first period always bad? Does it get better or will it always be like this? Lol. </p>
