Technically, that's not a fever, but I know my LO usually runs cooler than normal and I would consider 100 a fever for her. She just got over 3 days of 101-103 with no other symptoms. She's perfectly happy now. Also, cortisol levels are highest at 7pm, so it's completely normal for a temp to be higher then. Everyone's temp is a bit higher in the evening.

Are you using a temple thermator? Our ped said those notoriously test high, so if you use one of those maybe your LO isn't really running much of a fever?

For us that signified teething and the green poop was due to swallowing so much saliva. Not all kids run a low grade fever when teething but my son does.

To preface, I have called the pediatrician. They said if it gets over 101 to call, or to call if he's had it for a week (which will be Friday).

LO had a cough & snotty nose for a week but it cleared up and he got his 4 month shots. We were wary of a fever after the shots and he had one the next afternoon, about 100. We gave Tylenol and it went away by mid-night.

The same thing has happened since then, with no fever in the morning and by late afternoon/early evening it's somewhere between 99.5-100.7. He seems otherwise normal and happy and is eating/sleeping fine. He did just have one oddly green poop, but otherwise appears normal.

Has anyone experienced this? I'm going to call tomorrow because we're supposed to leave town on Friday but I'm not sure what they'll "test" for or do when it's.. just a low fever.

Thoughts?
