Pet Peeve - When the bottom of my pants get wet. I'm not above tight-rolling my work pants for the walk from my car into the building.

Pet Pleasure - A steaming hot shower that lasts as long as I want.

Pet peeve: people bringing their (usually loud and not well behaved) children to work like it's show and tell or something. If my kid comes to work, it's because we're supposed to be at home but I have to go in to do or get something. And in those cases she's quiet as a mouse and usually she sits under my desk colouring while I frantically work on something. Also, don't ask me to watch or hold you kid while you work. Boy that turned into a bit of a rant, eh?

Pet pleasure: when someone brings me coffee.

Pet peeve: so hard to pick just one. When people stop right at the bottom/top of an escalator, or just inside the doors.

Pet pleasure: making soup.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I HATE that! Or when you hold the door open until somebody gets close enough and they don't even put out their hand to keep it open for themselves, just expect you to hold it. Argh.

@DesertDreams88: Pet peeve is when someone calls me, or worse, WRITES the wrong name (my name is right there in my email sig block). I have no idea why I get it so often but it makes me see red. Haha. "Pet pleasure" would be Victoria's Secret PINK sweatpants which I am muuuuuch too old for! :D

Pet peeve: Oh there are so many. In the same vein as eye-contact, when people say nope. I generally find that word rude. Especially when it's a student's response to whether they have their homework.

@travelingnanny: My husband likes to fill up a something from the dishes with soapy water (like a pot or bowl) and then he ALWAYS leaves it in the sink for dishes he is going to "wash later." Except he never ever does. Drives me crazy and negates any appreciation I might feel for him having done the dishes. He also puts things in the sink when there is any empty dishwasher.

Pet pleasure: Peeling plastic film off of electronics. My terrible DH from the prior example does always let me do the peeling if we buy something new :)

Pet peeve: being forced to listen to others cell phone conversations. So annoying! Hard to drown people out too.

Pet pleasure: unexpected treats at work, i.e. Someone brings in donuts in the morning! It can make a day.

Pet peeve: When I call someone and they just text me back. I've done this numerous times but always clarify that I'm not in a good place to call.

Pleasure: The feeling after a haircut, pedicure, wax, etc. I feel so renewed!

ugh i have a bunch of pet peeves, haha.... my latest one:

PEEVE: Wet socks... like after I have put my socks on in the morning then stepping in something wet... like if i go back into the bathroom and my husband manages to get water EVERYWHERE somehow, or in the kitchen, same story. ugh.

PLEASURE: Finding a great parking spot.

@travelingnanny: ha ha, I just hate dishes in the sink when the sink is wet. I'd rather see them piled high on the counter than have to touch wet dishes.

@DesertDreams88: so guilty of your pet peeve. I do the whole wander eye thing looking for the answer in the sky if I am not 100% sure. It's that or admit I don't know. Gasp!

Pet peeve: holding door open for someone who doesn't say thank you and seems too good to hold it for someone else. You're lucky I don't slam the next set on you!

Pet pleasure: Morning Joe opening at 6 am with coffee in my cup!

Pet peeve: When people are late. I'm one of those people who are always on time, and I get annoyed when I am stuck waiting around for someone to show up when we have plans

Pet Pleasure: Flowers. I love getting unexpected flowers or buying myself a bouquet at the store. They make me smile

Pet peeve: People who walk or stop in large groups and take up the whole walkway. I may or may not have run over some feet with my stroller on purpose 😂
Pet pleasure: Cheese that oozes out, melts and gets stuck to pan. I love to peel it off and eat it.

Pet peeve- when people soak dishes that don't need to be soaked and then end up forgetting about them therefore I end up washing them. I can understand if it is a pot of rice or something.

Pet pleasure- Getting snail mail.

What's a pet peeve of yours?
One of mine is when people avoid eye contact when I'm talking with them. I feel like they're ignoring me and I HATE it. This mightttt have something to do with being a middle school teacher and having a conflict-avoidant husband (he admits it).

What's a pet pleasure? (made up the phrase, figured I had to have a positive part of this post, right?)
Wearing leggings at work with tunics!
