Oh my sweetness!!! Could you maybe see if a kid (10-14 year old maybe?), would want to come and play with him a few times a week? Take him for a walk, or play with him outside...that may be all he needs. Are you sure you couldn't manage 20 minutes an evening to give him some love and attention? :) So sweet!

oh my gosh how cute!

our dog has definitely suffered lack of attention since LO came home, but I felt that it was also something he needed to get used to. the vet told us that he needed to learn he was bottom of the 'pack' so that he wouldn't show any aggression toward LO as she grew, and so he'd be sure to listen to us. she's 11 weeks tomorrow and he's still mopey sometimes but not nearly as bad as he was before.

I wouldn't trust someone I didn't know. But I'd share with a friend who wanted more pup time.

I love our 5 yr old chow chow to death and would not consider giving him away but lately have thought about putting him up for dog sharing. It's for dog lovers who can't commit to having a dog by themselves but would take the dog for a period of time. I just feel like the poor dog is being neglected so much since out daughter was born. I'm about to head back to work in a few weeks and can only imagine us spending even less time with him. Looking to dog share so someone would lavish him and pay him with attention like we used to once in awhile. I'm feelig extremely guilty even typing this out. Have you thought of something similar with your pet?
