I used the app Ink to send thank you cards for M's bday. I took a pic of her playing with each gift and made it the picture on the card, then wrote a personalized message on the back. They mail them for you, too. I have a big board that all my fun mail goes on, so I don't keep photos/cards up for more than a few months. For family I send a printed photo and a photo card.
