We splurged and went with our first choice for her 1year photos. Ended up paying almost $400 for 100+ dig images - it was pricey but sooo worth it! I guess I can wait it out, he said he should have time next month...</p> <p>@Arden: Our preferred photographer has told us he'd do them for $100 since we're friends from church so cost isn't the issue. He's just of really high demand (I think his work is amazing... of course considering he did our wedding) and I'm worried about not being able to ever get anything scheduled... My birth photographer dropped her typical fee from $750 to $250 when I explained our situation and just asked. </p> <p>After the birth, she offered to do newborn photos (which I really wanted but had told her I couldn't afford) for just $150 instead of her typical $300, and said I could make payments over the course of the next couple of months if that would help. </p> <p>My maternity photographer (a different woman) dropped her fee from $300 to $75 when I asked if there was any flexibility. </p> <p>It was an incredible blessing since we never could have afforded it otherwise. And they were really good. Her fb looks decent, although I'm not exactly sure how long she's been doing it &amp; there aren't many shots that I really "love".</p> <p>I asked her for pricing today since we can't seem to lock down a date with "our" photographer &amp; here's what she sent me:</p> <p>"Hi. I will load the edited pictures to a cd for you to has printed where ever you like. There are usually around 10-15 pictures on the cd that have been edited and are ready to go. The sessions are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour long and are $100. For more locations and time the price will go up depending on what exactly you want. I do only outdoor sessions at this time since I do not have an indoor studio. Thanks!! I look forward to working with you!" </p> <p>I'll be honest that I REALLY prefer our photographer (he did our wedding photos) but I'd hate to not have anything done &amp; then "miss" this season of our lives. I'm SO bad at getting family pictures done &amp; if I don't get something soon I can almost guarantee I'll forget about them. P is already ONE.......</p> <p>What would you ladies do? The price seems like a nice price &amp; I guess in the end having pictures I don't exactly "love" is better than not having any, right? </p>
