If you want some pics of your little one, why not stage a little photo shoot in your living room. Dress him up cute and have even just a white blanket background. I do this for all the holidays, I just found some ideas on Pinterest and use my little point and shoot camera. We really liked some of them so we wound up getting a few and opted not to do any other "professional" pictures at that time. We thought that we would wait until 6 months or so to get some more pictures when he was a bit bigger.</p> <p>He is now 4 months old and we are still considering working with a photographer again. I am disappointed that we didn't take the opportunity when we was so little to do more (and more of the "style" I wanted) and find that I am almost trying to hurry to do some pictures while he's younger.</p> <p>Do you think it would be better to do pictures now or wait a few more months? He's obviously too big to do newborn-type pictures and I am just wondering if it's an OK time to do family pictures? We have a few photographers in mind and I am trying to schedule something soon, even if it's a few months away. </p>
