@mrskansas: if you have a smart phone, another option is using a edit thing called "light leak"

I always add them to my pics where there is background I don't like.

For instance this pic of DD showed my messy car, so I added the light leak (which is really just a flare of light) and it covered it right up!

Agree with Reyorra. Also though, don't use the second picture. Take another picture of your yard that you can just plop her into, rather than having to cut her out of that photo.

It seems to me that the photo you like should be easy to alter because your daughter should be pretty easy to cut around to remove the background. If you are going to put some grass behind her, I would use the line between the garage and driveway as the "start point" for the grass and leave the driveway under her feet. I would crop the photo on the left side right at the beer bottle.

Edit: Adorable, btw!

Disclaimer... I have zero photoshop skills.
I'm going to put 2 pictures of my daughter in the comments. I love the one of her smiling but our garage is in the background and it's obviously a mess. The other has our yard which I would prefer to be the background.

How difficult will it be to change the background? Should I even attempt this if I don't know how to use Photoshop?
