This is great to hear. I haven't had any PT, but I am already experiencing lower back and hip discomfort at 5w4d. I'm going keep this option in mind if it gets worse.

@MamaMoose: I did, but it was for an injury from a car accident at 27 weeks. It was very helpful for me, too.

Yes, I did. Sounds like I went for exactly what you are going in for, and they had me do pelvic floor exercises also. I went twice a week for a few months, and there definitely was improvement (plus the twice a week half hour PT massage was pretty sweet, too! teehee).

Other things that helped my hip/pelvic pain were getting a big exercise ball to sit on, and seeing an osteopathic prenatal chiro with had me take DHA in large doses (my OB referred me to him, and OK'd the DHA use in that dose). My pain was partially caused by inflammation, which the DHA reduced.

Good luck with PT, hope it helps!!

Awesome! I haven't, but if my back continues to hurt I'm totally gonna get some PT!

I have a lot of hip/back pain and my OB referred me to a physical therapist. After just a week I'm already feeling an improvement. And they are going to work with me on a lot of pelvic floor exercises so that should help my labor experience be a little easier. Bonus! Anyone else done PT during pregnancy?
