They usually go after they eat breakfast or when they're on walks. If I see one another time then I'll pick it up then, plus LO is very good at coming and telling me if she sees one. We have one dog, a big yard, and a very dry environment, so it dries out quickly. It has never been a problem with our little guy running around outside, he's never shown interest in it. I don't like to pick up immediately because it's easier for me to scoop them up when they're (TMI) hard and dry after sitting out for a few hours. We have 2 big dogs so we go through the yard a few times a week and pick up the poop and put it in the compost. We have never been in a great habit of picking up up after the dogs, but I know I'll need to do better if he is going to be back there. </p> <p>Do you just pick up after them every time you take them out so the yard is always clean? Some other method? </p>
