He has earrings because they are special kind and they will not let you use yours until 6wks after. My mom had bought her diamonds.LOL I just cleaned her ears everyday and turned them. I work, so every morning when we woke up, I did it then. It was quite easy for me. She's never touched her ears at all. She doesn't know they are there. I'm allergic to most metals and don't want to risk putting her through pain if she is too. I'm allergic to something used in most cheap earrings, so it was better for my mom that the pain and irritation was my own doing, and I was never upset with her about it. Didn't even think about this! I got mine pierced when I was a few weeks old at the hospital and I've always been happy with the fact that I got mine pierced so early so that I wouldn't remember the pain.
