I actually found that bandaids made the itching worse. I have sensitive skin and the adhesive was irritating me. Once I ditched the bandaids it got better.

@momazon: @miss Sarah: I don't know why I didn't think of a cami, I'm definitely trying this tomorrow! Thanks!

@bluestripedbee:I have been using bandaids, but maybe I should look for something a bit bigger that provides more coverage?

@twodoghouse: good to know, I will definitely keep monitoring it!

I used band aids, as well, which helped cut down on irritation. However, I did end up breaking out in hives around my injection sites. I had been taking PIO successfully for weeks (I think I was 6 weeks pregnant by then) then I suddenly broke out with this reaction. My dr said sometimes your body just gets sick of it and gives out an immune response. I did not switch oils since I did fine with the original oil for so long. I just took oral Benadryl (not topical) and it helped my reaction. If you think the itchiness is hives, you could talk to your dr about something to give you comfort!

Do you use a bandaid to cover up the injection site? I would usually bleed when I did my injections. So I used a lot of band aids...

It's also possible that you are allergic but I would see if you can stop the rubbing first. Leialou (now Mrs. pickles) had to switch to a different oil. I think they can make it in 3 different types of oil.

I echo the camisole advice. I also ended up putting large bandages over my injection sites towards the end due to irritation! Good luck!

Can you wear a camisole tucked in, so the friction of the waistband is lessened?

I feel like the waistline of my pants are hitting right where my PIO injection sites are. When the waistband of my pants rub it just makes the injection sites itch! :bummed:

On the weekends I just wear stretchy pants either really low or really high. But this isn't feasible with jeans and nicer work pants.

What tips do you have for me?!
