They had a negative effect on my milk supply, but I have a stupid medical issue when it comes to lactating and there's lots of things that help most other women that don't help me. Anyways, I quit taking them when my milk supply dropped so quickly after starting, but I was such a hormonal mess and when I finally decided to accept the fact that I wouldn't produce a full milk supply and started taking them again, I felt lots better. Placebo effect, maybe. I can't say I felt dramatically different but I had long recovery times after each birth and I definitely think it helped my mood! It made me feel a lot better physically (less weak, less bleeding, less after-pains) on the days I took it as well.</p> <p>It did seen to help me mentally (tremendously) until I ran out, and then my issues got worse.
